1. Area of Expertizes

Prof. Li has worked in the nuclear industry and national defense technology industry for over 40 years and possesses a solid foundation in nuclear science and technology, as well as extensive research experience. Prof. Li specializes in nuclear chemistry, radiochemistry, mass spectrometry, spent fuel reprocessing, nuclear fuel cycle processes, and measurements. Prof. Li is a leader of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project (hundred and thousand level), and is the state council special allowance expert. Prof. Li is familiar with the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, nuclear waste management, nuclear safeguards, prohibition verification, and treaty negotiations, and stays informed about the developments in international nuclear science and technology.

4. Awards and Honors

Prof. Li has received first prize in scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial levels twice, second prize four times, and third prize five times; holds four invention patents, one national defense patent, and five utility model patents. Senior Consultor of Chinese Nuclear Society; Former Secretary-General, Vice Chairman, and three-term Chairman of the China Mass Spectrometry Society. Two-term Chairman of the Nuclear Chemistry and Radiochemistry Branch of the Chinese Nuclear Society. Chairman (legal representative) of the China Nuclear Industry Investigation & Design Association, as well as a member of multiple expert committees and academic institutions.
