Professor Xiabi LIU received the Bachelor's degree in computer application from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei, China, in 1998, and the PhD degree in computer science from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. From 2008 to 2021, he was an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. Since 2021, he has been a Professor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. He founds and leads the Machine Learning and Multimedia Retrieval lab, Beijing Institute of Technology. He was the Principal Investigator of several research grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Education in China. He is the author or coauthor of three books and more than 70 papers. He holds more than 10 patents. His research interests include machine learning, pattern recognition, computer vision, and medical image processing.


刘峡壁,教育部新世纪优秀人才,智能信息技术北京市重点实验室副主任,北京励耘大数据与人工智能研究院院长,中国医学装备协会理事,中国人工智能学会中小学工作委员会委员,北京科技教育促进会理事。长期从事人工智能的教学与研究,主要科学研究兴趣包括机器学习、计算机视觉模式识别、医学人工智能、智慧教育。已出版人工智能教材2、专著1部,发表高水平学术论文70余篇,主持国家及省部级科研项目10、教改项目3项,得国家发明专利10项,获得兵器科学技术二等奖、兵工高校优秀教材二等奖等奖励
